Neuroscience Behind Financial Risk Taking,














I enjoyed the discussion on KCRW this week - there was a reference to John Coates previously traded derivatives for Goldman Sachs and now neuroscientist at Cambridge University.  Coates' hypothesis is that at a certain level of rising testosterone, effective risk taking gradually turns into a biological wave of excessively risky behaviour.
